The news came off the lists of the imminent auctions of homes and properties posted online. And according to the lists o Stelios Dionysiou he was in danger of losing his house, which according to the tables is going up for auction on November 27th, with a starting price of 785,000.00. Included in this auction were the singer’s additional properties on the said property (warehouses and parking spaces).

He spoke to the To Proino show and the journalist Thanos Vagios, explaining that he has started the procedures to stop this auction and that it is only a matter of time before he stops it.

“I bought this house 25 years ago when there were other times, before the crisis. The amount was a loan, I didn’t have a million saved and I went and got a house, it’s a loan. Once we were making money and working five days a week, we were paying off the loan. After a while things got tight. It’s not just me, there are many Greeks who stepped on it like me” Stelios Dionysiou said initially and continued:

“Today is another day, tomorrow dawns another day, things come into your life that you don’t expect. But if there is good will and cooperation on both sides, such issues can be resolved. Thank god it doesn’t worry me.

I’ve put a hold on this thing so it’s a matter of days before the auction goes through. I am in the process of repaying part of the debt. I also neglected it and they certainly didn’t bother me, it’s the truth, so little by little we got here. But okay, it’s standard procedure. I used to live there, now I’ve rented it”
