BBB 22: Felipe Neto says he doubts Laís’ mental capacity

by

Businessman and influencer Felipe Neto, 34, once again discussed Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo). Now, he said he doesn’t believe that Laís is a very intelligent person.

“Wait, is Laís a doctor?”, he began before elaborating his reasoning. “It’s past time for us to end the stereotype that every doctor is intelligent and a reference in society”, he fired.

Neto ended up deleting the posts, but the prints were made and released on social media. However, this is not the first time he has declared his support against someone.

He was among the celebrities who criticized the argument that Jade Picon used in her defense to stay in the BBB 22 house. The influencer, who has now been eliminated in Paredão with Arthur Aguiar and Jessilane, said in her speech that, if she won the game, would donate the prize received.

“I really want to stay. This has been the best experience of my life by far. […] I played myself, I have faced everything with great courage, I have been very consistent with my game, without fear of anything. It would be, above all, a dream for me to be able to use all this experience of mine as a vehicle to help thousands of people winning the award and donating R$ 1.5 million to five different Brazilian institutions”, she said.

Outraged by the participant’s defense, Felipe Neto published a video on his Instagram profile saying he was “Fora Jade” and that “charity as a bargaining chip to win a program is unacceptable”.

“I was on the team that was like that, in the third way. But after Jade’s 30-second speech, it’s impossible for me not to be Fora Jade. The point is simple: you don’t use charity as a bargaining chip. The program wins. The program wins, doesn’t warn anyone, and then you donate, say you donated if you want to encourage other people,” he says in the video.

He continued: “Now, from the moment you use charity to win a program, where you know you’re going to earn much more than a R$1.5 with advertising, it’s one of the lowest things I’ve ever seen. […] It’s one thing for you to say you’re going to donate an award before starting the program. Another thing is you have 30 seconds to defend yourself and use that as a reason to let you in the house. That’s using charity as a bargaining chip.”
