Slimane, the singer who took part in last year’s Eurovision is facing a serious complaint of sexual harassment, which was brought against him by a former technician from his tour.

According to French media, including Parisien, a lawsuit has been filed against the singer.

The incident referred to by the artist’s former partner allegedly took place last December between 17 and 18 on the sidelines of the singer’s concert at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne.

Saint-Etienne prosecutor David Charmage announced that the plaintiff’s lawyer told him he would provide “evidence” “later”.

The former Eurovision candidate started in November 2023 a tour in France, the Cupidon Tour, a year after the release of his album Chroniques d’un cupidon which was released in September 2022.

In his complaint, the technician states that the singer approached him trying to hug him and then insisted on having sex with him. The technician refused and during the night the singer sent him numerous messages and videos of a sexual or pornographic nature for two and a half hours.

The singer’s entourage disputes these claims.
