A special journey begins on Happy Traveler this Sunday, November 17, and SKAI viewers travel with Eutychis and Elektra to Southeast Asia.

Our travelers first explore Vientiane which, in addition to being the capital, is also the largest city of the Lao People’s Republic. They see unique sights, taste great food and chat with the locals.
They see up close the triumphal arch in Patuxai, the imposing government buildings in the center, the impressive temples and the famous Buddhist stupa (temple) Pha That Luang.
They tour the city in traditional and colorful tuk tuks and visit the city’s busiest night market. They try local flavors, street food and the traditional foods chosen by the people of Laos.
Then they go to Luang Prabang, the most popular and touristic city in the country, climb to the point with the best view and go boating on the river. There, they rendezvous for the second part of Happy Traveler in Laos, exploring the area around Luang Prabang.
