Five years after Gugu Liberato’s death, the presenter’s mansion in Alphaville (Barueri, SP) remains in the same way he left it.
Gugu’s eldest son, João Augusto, aged 23, opened his father’s house for Domingo Espetacular (Record). The property is the only asset not listed in the artist’s will. The rest of the estate, which totals around R$1 billion, is under legal dispute.
Valued at R$7 million, the Alphaville mansion was passed on to Rose Miriam by Gugu himself while he was still alive. The presenter’s ex-partner, mother of João Augusto and twins Marina and Sofia, 20, keeps a kind of “memory of memory” in the property with her personal items.
“Many people don’t know, but my father was a very funny person. He was playful, he liked to play pranks and scare people”, says João Augusto.
Among the items in the private museum maintained by the presenter’s family are various types of horror masks, which he used to play pranks and scare his children.
The collection encompasses around 31 thousand items, including photos, books, toys, awards, various objects, clothing and cars, which were cataloged by his former personal advisor.
