The auction organized since December by Whindersson Nunes to help flood victims in Bahia managed to raise enough for 101 families. The comedian released this Sunday (13) the results of the donation and thanked the support of artists.

Celebrities such as Anitta, Juliette, Tirullipa, Roberta Miranda, Simaria, Gkay, Joelma, Sabrina Sato and Maisa participated in the action, donating personal items. They also contributed stoves and refrigerators, according to the comedian.

“In the first auction we managed to raise enough to help 101 families in Bahia after the floods, landslides and countless problems that the heavy rains brought”, he began in a post on his Instagram profile. “Everyone deserves dignity, it is part of human dignity to be able to tell children what they will have to eat later, thinking in this way, we imagine stoves and refrigerators would be a way to start over.”

In December, Whindersson said he would auction off career highlights, such as the outfit he wore to his first stand-up show and his first guitar. He says that the instrument was a gift from his mother, who spent R$300 and that it has now been sold for R$50,000. The R$50 clothing was valued at R$15,000.

“Thank you very much [sic] the generosity of wanting to help, those who buy, in addition to taking with them the emotional value, know the value of the act in the lives of other people. With that in mind, in the next auction, the original paintings used in the recording of my last show posted on Netflix ‘É de mime’, will be available, so that every day we learn more and more to share what is ours, and not only what we have left.”
