Santa Night Run! A magical Christmas running ‘race’

Tomorrow, Saturday, at 17:00, Piraeus hosts the Santa Night Run, a special sporting event that fills the city with smiles and offers love for a good cause. Young and old wear the costume of the beloved Santa Claus and participate in a festive route that crosses the main streets of Piraeus. The atmosphere of celebration and joy prevails, with the participants spreading the Christmas spirit with every step they take.

Participation is free, while the uniforms are provided free of charge by the Municipality of Piraeus.

As a token of appreciation, participants are asked to bring a small gift or toy. These gifts will be gathered at the volunteering office of the Piraeus Municipality and will be offered to children of our city’s institutions, giving them moments of joy.

Come and experience the magic of Christmas together, combining fun with solidarity.

Put on your uniform, smile and come run for a beautiful cause, spreading the message of love and celebration to every corner of the city!

-The gifts will be distributed to the children hosted at the Hatzikyriakeio Child Protection Foundation and the Society for the Protection of Minors Piraeus – “The Good Shepherd” Shelter.

A fairy-tale village full of Christmas magic “unfolds” in Korai Square! The Village of Elves brings together this year, until Tuesday 7 January 2025, fantastic games and themed activities for everyone.

In Santa’s Workshop, children experience the magic of Christmas through creative activities. They can make Christmas ornaments, decorate cookies with icing and candies and create greeting cards. They also write their letter to Santa Claus and place it in the magic mailbox. With the help of the elves, they participate in fun games, listen to Christmas stories and sing holiday songs.

In addition, they enjoy face painting and making small crafts such as gifts and picture frames. The workshop fills the children with joy and festive mood, creating unforgettable moments! A unique experience for children to help Santa Claus in his games.

Christmas Musical Walks of the Philharmonic Wind Orchestra of the Municipality of Piraeus
