A lawyer for Baldoni, who directed the film, said the allegations are false
Months after rumors of behind-the-scenes rifts on the set of the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, the 37-year-old actress, Blake Livelysued the film’s actor and director “It Ends with Us”Justin Baldoni, for sexual harassment. She claims her co-star caused her “serious emotional distress.”
According to TMZ, which broke the news, the lawsuit states that a meeting was held with the actress to discuss her claims and her requirements to work on the film. She was joined by various personalities, including her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

Some of the requests considered, according to the lawsuit, included, among others: “no further showing of nude videos or images of Blake Livelyno more references to the cast and crew’s genitalia, no more inquiries about her weight or references to her dead father.”
According to TMZ, the lawsuit states that Sony Pictures, which distributed the film, approved Lively’s requests. However, Lively claims that Baldoni then engaged in a campaign of “social manipulation” to “ruin” her reputation.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, told TMZ that with this move the actress is trying to turn the tide against her and that the allegations are false and outrageous. The lawyer added that Lively caused problems on the set of the film, “threatening not to appear on set, not to promote the film, ultimately leading to its collapse during its release.”
