The Screen Actors Guild of America (SAG-AFTRA) is expressing its support for Blake Lively, who has filed a sexual harassment complaint against Justin Baltoni, her co-star and director of the movie It Ends With Us.

“These are appalling and disturbing allegations. Employees have every right to raise issues of concern or file complaints. Retaliation for reporting misconduct or misconduct is illegal and wrong,” the Union said in a statement.

“We applaud Blake Lively’s courage to speak out about revenge and harassment and her request to have an intimacy moderator for all scenes with nudity or sexual content. This is an important step to help ensure safe filming,” the union, which represents about 160,000 actors in Hollywood, said in a statement.

Blake Lively has starred in hit TV series and movies including ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’. She married fellow superstar Ryan Reynolds. She is friends with Taylor Swift.

Then, in August, while promoting her latest film It Ends With Us, she suddenly became controversial, bordering on cancellation.

Lively has now filed a lawsuit alleging she was sexually harassed by “It Ends With Us” co-star and director Justin Baldoni — and that when she complained, he and Wayfarer’s studio hit back by waging a campaign to “ruin” her reputation .
