The Oscar 2025 ceremony took place on the night of last Sunday (3), crowning Mikey Madison as the best actress of the year. The American, protagonist of “Anora”, broke Fernanda Torres, “I’m still here”, and Demi Moore, from “The Substance”. Both were considered favorite for the Brazilian public, which made Madison’s victory a surprise for the internet.

In the social networks of the gym, the negative repercussion was immediate. In several publications about the awards, you can find attacks and curses directed to the actress, with people criticizing their performance, appearance and even their costumes in the awards.

The comments took over the posts. “A few years from now no one will remember this movie, she will use this statuette as a door weight, because she will look at it and know until the end of her days she has not deserved,” wrote @mtsmoulin.

Another criticism came from @sweeftietv: “It is a shame to reward such a mediocre performance, whose actress will be forgotten in 2 or 3 years. Any median actress could do this. Mikey and the other nominees need to walk light years to deliver Fernanda’s performance.”

Already @_llopedani mocked: “Want sex movie? Watch Bruna Surfistinha. Even has much more relevance than this actress there.” Even your choice of clothes became a target: “With this disgusting dress,” said @justlizaoca.

Unlike many stars of his generation, Madison maintains distance from the internet and says he has no profile on the networks. In an interview with Hollywood Authentic, she explained, “I don’t look at me on social networks. I have none of that. I don’t research Google anything. I don’t recognize that. So it’s always a shock to have it designed in me.”
