South Korean star Kim Soo-Hyun is accused of involvement in the death of an actress

Almost a month after Kim Sae-Ron’s death, a new fact emerged and caused a scandal in the South Korean press. Actor Kim Soo-Hyun, known among Brazilians for his roles in “Okay not to be normal” (2020) and “Queen of Tears” (2024), was accused of being involved in the young woman’s death. An aunt of the star, found lifeless at his home on February 16, blames him for the tragedy.

According to the actress’s relative, she and the actor had a relationship for six years. The relationship ended in 2021 and last year Kim Sae-Ron was notified by the company of his alleged ex-boyfriend to pay fines related to contracts not complied with the Gold Medalist agency. Due to millionaire debt, the actress faced financial difficulties and, according to her aunt, this would have been the reason she took her life-just on the 37th anniversary of the K-Dramas star, February 16.

The accusations were made to the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute last week. The actor and Gold Medalist agency’s staff claimed that all accusations – both about the relationship and the alleged troubled end – are “false and unfounded.” The company also stated that it evaluates legal measures against those responsible for the dissemination of information.

Kim Sae-Ron was found dead at his home in Seongsu-Dong, a neighborhood in east of Seoul, South Korea. The actress began her career in 2009 and stood out in films such as “A New Life in Folha” (2009) and “The Man from no place” (2010). She also starred in productions such as a girl at the door (2014) and “The Neighbors” (2012), as well as the “Mirror of the Witch” series (2016).

In 2023, he made his debut on the Netflix series “Hunting Dogs”, his last project. The actress had paused her career after being caught driving drunk in 2022.
