Susana Vieira debuted on Friday (14) the play “Lady”, unpublished text by Vana Medeiros who intersperses the actress’s biography with some excerpts from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”.
Without brakes as always and to the desperation of her press office, she said she will have a weekly program at Globo. “I recorded a pilot and it’s all right. I must start running even late March and debut later this semester,” Susana announces.
She says she is happy to be remembered by the public for great roles like Odete Roitman, from “Vale Tudo”, a role that was with Debora Bloch.
“People ask me and are questions that have no answers. I was not invited and ok. Thank God Globo has another plans for me.”
Very humorous, she added: “I know that everyone thinks I’m a wonderful actress. But I’m the most affordable of the general public than other big actresses. Artists even better than me. Few, right?”
In Susana’s play A Life joins the English author excerpts, on a trip through the actress’s personal and professional trajectory, in a frank and brave text.
“I’ve always dreamed of playing Lady Macbeth. I like all the pieces of Shakespeare, it’s stories that involve the great defects we have: selfishness, revenge, envy, adultery and this is always current. I’m seeing a show that has to do with me,” he concludes.
