The French President Emmanuel Macron announced yesterday that on March 28 he will accept his Lebanese counterpart Joseph Aun In the Mansion of the Champs -Elysees, expressing the dedication of Paris to ‘Recovery’ and “sovereignty” of Lebanon.

The leader of the French state announced the visit of Aun in a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter), after a telephone conversation with the Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salamwho congratulated his government’s work with a view to ‘Unity, Security and Stability’ in his country.

Emmanuel Macron visited Beirut on January 17just nine days after General Aun took over the presidency of Lebanon. Four days later, Salam’s appointment to the prime minister followed, marking the lifting of the political impasse that the country had reached for the past two years.

France then announced the Conducting International Conference on Lebanese rebuildingafter the end of Israeli military operations against her Hezbollah On November 27th.
