Roberta Miranda has been remembering some moments of her life and, in a recent interview, said she was already in love with her father as her father, who has said she had suffered physical aggression.
“She was called Vanda. She was a friend, two teenagers. House was very poor, had a bed, a mattress. We slept, she turned there, I turned here,” she told André Piunti channel. “It was that teenager affection, running a hand, something mimosa, so innocent. I think I fell in love with her, and I think she fell in love with me.”
According to the singer, she would be between 14 and 15 years old, the same time when the disagreements with her alcoholic father got worse and she decided to leave home.
“My father started to get more aggressive to me, to the point of my brother José Miranda hear me screaming and tearing me from my father’s hands. Then I came to find out it was because he fell in love with her.”
Years later, when he sang, the two talked about the situation. Roberta said she was 25 years without any contact with Vanda. During an analysis session, she was recommended to look for her friend.
“I put everyone behind Vanda, to know if she was alive. As a success, I sat with Vanda and said ‘Did you go out with my father, had some sex with him?’. She said ‘Miranda, never. My passion for you followed and he knew it, we never had anything.’
The artist said she had to remedy many issues and problems passed during the analysis, requiring forgiveness and faith to move on.
“Bringing this pain and anger within me is incompatible. Thank God today I am fine.”
