After reaching the Top 5 in the world of most listened to songs on Spotify, singer Anitta, 28, showed in her Stories that she received a bouquet of flowers this Tuesday morning (22), congratulating her on having reached the Top 10 worldwide in platform, last Saturday (19).

Anitta stated that she didn’t know who could have sent the gift, which came with a card written: “Congratulations my Top 10 worldwide, towards the Top 1, see? I trust you, always continue to be this talented girl who has been conquering and enchanting the world for wherever you go, miss you”.

“It seems a little romantic to me, I don’t know who sent this. Was it my family? No! Didn’t they name me… ‘Minha’? I’m nobody’s, no! In Portuguese I don’t know who could be calling me ‘my’ no … This time it’s not a prank”, added the singer.

Then the singer joked that she can retire now, but she still doesn’t want to. “If I want to retire now I’ll retire, I’ve done what I could and what I couldn’t. If I want to retire I can… Calm down, I said if you want to!”, she began.

“I didn’t say I’m going, but I could! There’s nothing more to do, everything has already been done. There’s still Coachella, I’m not retiring now. I have the album”, she added, talking about her new project. “Girl From Rio”. Recently, the artist revealed that her long-awaited album “Girl From Rio” should be released in April.

In the early hours of Sunday (20), Anitta made a series of tweets while “she was drunk” and between statements to fans and apologies for not doing “a drunk live”, she replied to a fan who asked: “What is the date of the album , woman? Let go and blame the drink”.

“April, anted of ohalella” [sic], wrote Anita. The singer’s tweet has already exceeded 2,000 likes, and fans and netizens understood that the artist meant the Coachella festival, in which she was announced as an attraction, alongside Pabllo Vittar, in January 2020, and which starts on April 15 .

In the responses to the tweet, fans and netizens celebrated the date and asked for more information. “How many songs will there be?”, asked one. “You will have a partnership with Karol [Conká]?”, asked another. “The glory days are coming”, celebrated a third.

One of the songs that should be on the album is “Envolver”, which entered the Top 10 on Spotify’s global ranking this weekend. The song surpassed the peak of “Vai, Malandra”, which reached #18 on Spotify’s worldwide chart when it was released in 2017, and became the singer’s most listened to song.
