After separation, fans remember that Zé Felipe refused vasectomy for fear of divorce

The crisis in the marriage of Zé Felipe and Virginia Fonseca threw light on a statement made by the singer in early May: he had refused to make vasectomy to maintain the possibility of having children with another woman if he separated from the influencer.

The couple, who have three children —Maria Alice, 3, Maria Flor, 2, and José Leonardo, 8 months-reported the separation on Tuesday (27), after five years of union.

The controversial speech surfaced during the Sabadou program, presented by Virginia at SBT. She said that the then husband refused to do the procedure as a precaution. “He says he doesn’t want to ‘cover’, why, what if God is free, we end up, and he can’t have a child with someone else?” He said in a humorous tone.

Despite the current crisis, the couple had already faced a public disagreement earlier this year, during an event at Talisman farm, owned by Leonardo, the singer’s father. According to Virginia, the episode came when Zé Felipe, visibly altered, had her “silent” in front of everyone.

“He had the microphone and said that in front of everyone … I was very angry. Good thing I was recording at the time. Then he apologized, but I was stressed and sent him sleep on the couch,” he said. The friction lasted about five days, and soon they resumed coexistence.

Later this week, during an interaction with followers in Stories, Virginia replied if she intended to have more children. The answer was straightforward: “Negative. Three is great,” wrote the influencer, ending the rumors of a possible new pregnancy.

The end between the couple, although advertised in a friendly way, generated commotion on social networks. The two are one of the most popular couples on the Brazilian internet, with millions of followers and a legion of fans that accompanies the family routine in real time.
