Famous ones have used social networks to try to help in search for Juliana Marins, 26, a young Brazilian missing after falling 300 meters from a volcano in Indonesia.
Tata Werneck used his profile with more than 56 million followers to encourage other artists to share information about Juliana. “Attention, friends. Let’s make this noise, let’s post for us to get this rescue for Juliana. Let’s make this mobilization,” she asked in Stories.
Other artists have shared an image that shows a photo of the Brazilian and more information. “Although news saying she was found, she is still missing,” says the post.
“The family is without the support of the Indonesian government, without official information and without adequate funds for searches,” says another part of the statement.
Babu Santana and Douglas Silva were other celebrities asking for support. “We demand an immediate response. The Brazilian government needs to act urgently. Itamaraty needs to do its duty and pressure Indonesia authorities to intensify,” Babu wrote.
Despite the efforts, according to Mariana, Juliana’s sister, the searches were suspended on Sunday (22) due to the difficulties imposed by the weather.
