Giovana Cordeiro says she was raped at the age of 18 by a co -worker

“I was very scared, I was afraid of being assaulted in a place that had no idea where it was. I decided to be thinking it was more ‘safe’, and then lay down to sleep. But he didn’t let me fall asleep, insisted and had sex with me without my consent,” the actress told O Globo newspaper.

The actress said she was only understanding the severity of what had happened five years later, when she began to develop a health problem due to fear for the episode.

“It was as if my body wanted to punish me or alert me to a need for healing a guilt I didn’t have,” he said.

As he learned of the case, the older sister, Natália, was the one who supported her. “When Giovana reported what she lived, I confess that my desire was to do a scandal, see the subject pay for what she did. But we have to respect the moment of those who lived the abuse, and we know that, in practice, the victim is not always taken seriously,” Natália Cordeiro told the publication.
