Last Saturday (5), chef and presenter Edu Guedes, 51, underwent surgery due to pancreatic cancer. In addition to him, other famous ones have already received the diagnosis.

Titan musician Tony Bellotto, 64, received the diagnosis earlier this year. He also underwent surgery.

The information that the surgery had been successful was released by the band’s official Instagram profile. “Now he starts the recovery process. We are very happy and thank you for the affection and support of all.”

The guitarist is married to actress Malu Mader. After the disease was released, he posted a picture next to her thanking her support and that of fans and friends. “I also thank the Titans, who do not let the shuttlecock fall on stage. And especially to Malu, my beloved, who is always by my side, with a smile on his face.”

In 2008, actor Patrick Swayze, from the movie “Ghost” (1990), announced that he had the same type of cancer. The disease ended up spreading and reached the liver. He died the following year.

Singer Aretha Franklin (1942-2018) died as a result of advanced neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. The information was shared by her family that year.

It is a type of rare tumor that slowly evolves and is more difficult to diagnose. The businessman Steve Jobs (1955-2011) also had this disease.
