Thiago Gagliasso provokes Bruno after actor mock Bolsonaro’s anklet: ‘It was silent’

Bruno Gagliasso turned 43 in April, and his brother, Thiago, congratulated him, waving the possibility of rapprochement after seven years removed for political differences. However, this Friday (18), the climate soured again. The state deputy (PL-RJ) and ally of former President Jair Bolsonaro mocked Giovanna Ewbank’s husband, who published a sequence of videos about the use of electronic anklet.

The post took place on the day Bolsonaro became the target of an operation of the Federal Police and began to wear an electronic anklet by order of Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF). Thiago mocked the actor’s attitude on his stories on Instagram: “Okay, he spoke again of politics. He was silent putting out a fire in the Amazon,” he wrote.

In addition to the electronic anklet, the former president faces other restrictions, including nightly household collection, prohibition of social networks, impediment of approximation of embassies and contact with investigators or defendants. The Attorney General’s Office justified the measures by pointing out Bolsonaro’s “concrete possibility of escape”.

The break between Bruno and Thiago began in 2017, when the political differences between the two came public. Bruno is a critic of Bolsonaro, while Thiago built his political career as an ally of the former president. Family tension increased after the exposure of private conversations involving family members on social networks. Since then, the brothers have ceased to speak.

In 2022, Bruno publicly stated that he and Giovanna were exposed inappropriately by Thiago. The actor added that the removal was also motivated, among other factors, because “there is no more politics to be linked to morals.”

On April 13, Thiago congratulated Bruno: “Despite our political divergences, I could not embrace him seven years ago, we have different ideologies, if God willing, we will solve this situation,” he wrote. He then declared loyalty to his brother, “He knows that he can always count on me, regardless of anything, just as I always told him.”
