Former BBB and model Daniel Lenhardt, 24, has taken up a new relationship with model Marcus Lobos through social media. The Big Brother Brasil 20 contestant (Globo) shared a photo on his Twitter with the caption: “My heart fell in love”.
Shortly after the publication, Lenhardt took to Instagram Stories to thank him for the messages of affection and support he has been receiving, but also to say that his family has been receiving attacks in his hometown of Rio Grande do Sul, which has only 5,000. population.
“I have a very private life and I like that, but we need to set limits on some things,” he began. “Now that my relationship has been exposed, there’s nothing to be done. It’s just that I won’t admit prejudiced people, that I won’t.”
He says his town is in “an uproar” and that the locals are making fun of his family, especially his father and brother. “It’s very sad to hear from a family member that his brother had to leave whatsapp groups because his friends are making fun of him for this news,” he said.
He went on to say that homophobia is a crime, and that the message was for anyone with prejudice. “If you think about doing it, think twice because it’s horrible,” he said. Lenhardt also said that he doesn’t care about the attacks directed at him, but that he would like to open people’s minds.
“I don’t speak for myself, I don’t really feel offended. I feel sad for people who still have that mentality,” he explained. “I don’t understand how people don’t see that it’s love. We have other things to worry about. We have a president there who is going to leave, this is a real problem, who will be the future president of Brazil”, continued the former BBB who encouraged young people to take their voter registration.
During his participation in Globo’s reality show, Lenhardt had said that he was bisexual. He got involved with doctor Marcela McGowan, 33, who is also bisexual and currently in a relationship with singer Luiza, 30, who was a duo with Maurílio (1993–2021).
