A vacillation. This is how the singer and songwriter Marcus Menna, 48, recalls the complications suffered in 2004 after a liposuction that almost led his life. He had a cardiorespiratory arrest during the procedure and spent 20 minutes with little oxygenation in the brain. In all, it was two months in a coma.

At the time, he was very famous and leader of the rock band LS Jack, a group released on the planet Xuxa in the late 1990s.

“It was a big mistake of my thinking in aesthetics. I had those little lovers and was pissing my bag. So, I decided to take this stop and it all happened. Nowadays, I don’t even think about vanity,” says the musician, who in 2025 celebrates 30 years of career. “This my vacillation at least served as learning,” he says.

According to him, much has changed from 20 years here, especially in relation to his priorities and how he became life. “It was a hesitation that disturbed me too much. But God put me back to the game and I am able to resume my story. I value work and family,” comments the musician, who was discredited by doctors.

“But I resurfaced,” he celebrates. Over the past three years, Menna has studied music, composed, and is now officially released to the solo career with the release of the single “Anjos”, whose clip is now available on YouTube.

Marcus Menna also started a tour named “Everything Again” that should go through Brazil. And he says he already has four ready -made new songs that should enter the future album. LS Jack classic follow in their setlist. “I’m binding,” he says.
