The wedding of Naomi Biden, 28, granddaughter of current US President Joe Biden, 79, will take place at the White House. According to People magazine, the ceremony should take place in the last quarter of 2022, and Hunter Biden’s daughter celebrated the news on her Twitter.
“Me and Peter [Neal] we are infinitely grateful to my grandma and grandpa for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding in the White House. We can’t wait to make our commitment official and the future ahead of us,” she wrote.
The first lady’s publicist, Jill Biden, said preparations for Naomi’s wedding are still in the early stages of organizing. In addition, expenses must be paid in full by the Biden family.
Naomi and Peter are lawyers and got engaged in September of last year. She revealed the news to her followers on Instagram, sharing a photo where the two appear with their faces glued together and she shows off her engagement ring. “Forever,” she wrote in the caption.
In addition to Joe Biden’s granddaughter, other weddings have already taken place at the White House. The last one happened in 1994, when Hilary Clinton’s brother, the then First Lady, married Nicole Boxer. Furthermore, in 1971, Tricia Nixon, daughter of Richard Nixon, exchanged alliances with her husband Edward Finch Cox.
