Presenter Fátima Bernardes, 59, said during the meeting that she has never been drunk in her life. In conversation with actor Marcos Caruso, 70, the two commented on the parties and drinking at Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo) and revealed that they never crossed the line with drinking.
The actor said that when he’s at a party, he’s usually not “the enemy of the end” and usually stops drinking at a certain point in events, and then said he’s never been drunk in his life. Fatima then said: “I too [nunca fiquei bêbada]and people don’t believe it”.
Shortly after, the presenter still encouraged people to take the voter registration card. Fátima decided to take a poll with the audience, to find out who would leave before the BBB, Douglas Silva or Gustavo, after the two had a disagreement. When questioning, some people did not raise their hands to vote. “It didn’t work out, people. There are people without voting there. Let’s take the title, let’s vote”, she said.
In January of this year, Fátima Bernardes expressed to Globo’s management the desire to leave behind any expedient that ties her schedule and makes her hostage to daily commitments in Rio de Janeiro. This makes it impossible for her to remain at the head of the Encontro, a program created for her in 2012 and presented live, from Monday to Friday.
In the upper echelon of Globo, his departure, before the year 2022 ends, is taken for granted. But the farewell is more likely to take place in the second half of the year, when she will end a 35-year cycle at the station.
In June, Fátima will complete ten years in charge of “Encontro”, an event that comes in handy to seal her story in the mornings of Globo. In September, the journalist will be 60 years old, another date that leads her to reflect on a new routine.
With her boyfriend, Túlio Gadêlha, living in Recife (PE), and her son, Vinicius, studying in France, the presenter no longer wants to have to arrange frequent days off at Globo to travel whenever she wants. In addition, the journalist believes that it is time to slow down a little and enjoy life.
