The supermodel and with a strong humanitarian action Iman released her first perfume, an ode to her late husband, David Bowie and their fairytale relationship.
The perfume “Love Memoir” is a tribute to her 24-year marriage to the rock legend, both in terms of its meaning and composition.
The notes are a celebration of her memories with Bowie, with vetiver, which she wore on the day they met both bergamot and raspberry and is reminiscent of the Florence countryside where they married and rose, a nod to his British heritage.
The bottle is also reminiscent of special moments spent together. The amber-colored glass is in the shape of stacked stones, used from prehistoric times to the present day, which remain in their garden in New York.
“David is in the hearts and minds of all of us on a daily basis,” Iman said in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, referring to her family.
Describing his death from liver cancer five years ago, which she describes as “the saddest moment”, Iman said she was comforted by the feeling that he was still with her. “It is hidden from public view. “His fans are still around, his music is still relevant.” Now, with “Love Memoir”, his presence – and their eternal love – is immortalized in another way.
