To celebrate Princess Charlotte’s 7th birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, 39, and Kate Middleton, 40, have released new photos of their daughter. The princess celebrates her birthday this Monday (2).
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her seventh birthday tomorrow,” the royal couple said in a statement released to People on Sunday.
The portraits were taken in a Norfolk flower field in England by Kate. In one of the records, she appears cuddled with the new family dog, a cocker spaniel, from a litter raised by Kate’s brother, James Middleton.
In the comments, netizens congratulated the princess. “I hope Princess Charlotte has a wonderful birthday,” said one. “Happy birthday sweet and not so little princess anymore! Wishing only the best in life! Like mother like daughter,” wrote another.
Prince William recently teased his wife about not wanting any more children and asked her not to carry a child she picked up during a royal engagement at Clitheroe Community Hospital, according to Page Six.
“Don’t give my wife any more ideas!” William joked with the staff as they watched Kate cradle a baby in her arms. When Kate returned the girl to her parents, her husband added, “Don’t take her with you.”
