Disney has released first trailer for “RISE” the biographical film of ours Giannis Antetotounbo which will be released in June on Disney Plus, a week after its launch in Greece.
The film chronicles the incredible journey of Giannis in his teenage years living in Athens and playing for Philathlitikos until the top of the NBA and winning the first Milwaukee Bucks championship for 50 years.
The trailer presupposes a classic Disney family movie starring Giannis, the brothers Thanasis, Costas and Alex and their parents as they survive in the difficult urban environment of Athens, experiencing the effects of racism on their skin and how hard and doing what they love has reached the US and the magical world of the NBA
