Former Masterchef (Band) judge, chef Paola Carosella, 49, recalled an unusual story involving journalist William Bonner, 58. After celebrating her birthday in Bahia, in October last year, she received an email from the anchor of Jornal Nacional (Globo).
“I went to spend my 49th birthday at a hotel in Bahia and stayed in a bungalow with my daughter. And now you log into the TV with your password, right? And then I left. When I arrived in São Paulo, I remembered that We left Netflix logged in and I said I was going to send an email to the hotel. As I sat down at the computer, there was an email that said ‘Netflix logged in'”, he recalled in an interview with the Diacast podcast.
“I said ‘wow, the hotel already sent me’. Then I read it and said: ‘Dear Paola, I found your email because when I entered the bungalow, Netflix was logged in. Good, I loved finding your email – mail because I’m your fan. Don’t worry, I’ve already ‘unlogged’ the account. Save my phone, when I go to São Paulo I’ll have dinner at your restaurant. A hug, William Bonner”, he said.
Despite not giving further details, the story went viral on social media. Carosella left the Masterchef jury in 2021, being replaced by chef Helena Rizzo. At the time, she stated that she left the show to focus on her own business. “Right now my company needs my time and full dedication,” she said.
Carosella owns the Arturito restaurant and La Guapa Empanadas Artesanais e Café, both located in São Paulo. The statement was given in an interview with the CNN Nosso Mundo program. In the attraction, Paola Carosella also stated that she decided to keep most of her collaborators away from work to preserve themselves from the new coronavirus.
