Express your views on the Health System – For the first time in Greece, the insured will have… a “voice”

This is a study that is also being conducted in 20 other countries, as part of the implementation of the transnational PaRIS study

For the first time in Greece, a large-scale transnational study is being launched to investigate the opinions of insured patients and doctors from primary health care services (e.g. Health Centers, Local Health Units, Outpatient Clinics of NHS Hospitals), says an announcement by the Ministry of Health.

In particular, if you receive a message/invitation (SMS or email) through the immaterial prescription system of IDIKA or a printed questionnaire by mail (with prepaid postage for its return), “fill in the questionnaire so that through your answers you contribute to evolving the health system into a human-centered system that will more fully respond to your needs,” the statement said.

This survey is also conducted in 20 other countries (except Greece), as part of the implementation of the transnational study PaRIS (Patients Reported Indicators Survey) under the coordination of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD – Patient-Reported Indicator Surveys (PaRIS) – OECD) ) and the international consortium PaRIS-SUR.

In Greece, the study is implemented by Ministry of Health and the Organization for Quality Assurance in Health (ODIPY) (https://odipy.gov.gr) in collaboration with the Health Services Organization and Evaluation Laboratory of the Nursing Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the support of the Social Security Electronic Governance (EDIKA).

It is planned to participate 100 Pathologists and General Practitioners who work in Outpatient Clinics of ESY Hospitals or in Health Centers or in TOMY or have a Private Practice contracted with EOPYY and 10,000 patients over the age of 45 who have visited the above structures/doctors during the previous six months.
