During this period of time, Greece is in the first positions in daily vaccinations. In particular, it is in 7th place in terms of the rolling average of 7 days with vaccinations in the EU, said Mr. Themistokleous.

Today, 21,660,000 vaccinations against covid-19 were exceeded. More than 7,630,000 citizens have completed their vaccination, i.e. 72.7% of the general population and 81.3% of the adult population. The corresponding EU average is 72.6% of the general population and 83.2% of the adult population. Greece is in 14th place according to the ECDC.
Regarding the data of the first booster dose (3rd dose), more than 5,865,000 vaccinations have been carried out, a percentage of 81.5% of beneficiaries. The percentage over 60 years old is 88.1%. The vaccination rate of the entire adult population with a first booster dose is 66.1% and the corresponding rate in the EU is 64.9%, with Greece in 14th place.
The vaccination rate of the entire population over 60 with a booster dose is 80%, with the corresponding rate in the EU being 84%.
In relation to the second and third booster doses, 838,000 vaccinations have been carried out, while more than 62,000 appointments have been scheduled.
More than 716,000 vaccinations concern people over 60 and 122,000 concern citizens aged 30 to 59.
In the home program, more than 200,000 vaccinations have been carried out in 135,000 citizens.
