Greece remains in deep “red” for the fourth consecutive week according to the updated ECDC map for the coronavirus which was published on Thursday.
In the ECDC map, much of Europe is plunged into “red” in the composite index, which includes data on coronavirus cases, positivity and test rate.
However, our country appears in deep “green” in terms of the index of tests performed, while the whole country is in orange in contrast to last week which was in yellow in terms of positivity.
According to Josh Hopkins University, the number of coronavirus deaths worldwide has exceeded 5.47 million and the cases have exceeded 300 million. The vaccine doses that have been administered exceed 9.3 billion.
