The strong reaction of the Minister of Health, Thanou Plevri, provoked by the accusations of the former Minister of Health and member of parliament of SYRIZA, Andrea Xanthouthat the government in an irrelevant bill of the Ministry of Interior voted to remove the permanence of NSS doctors.
Mr. Plevris categorically assured that there is no removal of the permanence of the NSS doctors, while he attributed a deliberate distortion of the truth by SYRIZA-PS, in view of the upcoming elections of doctors.
“SYRIZA suddenly discovered it one day before the doctors’ elections. Do not fall at the level of Mr. Polakis. Absolutely nothing has changed. The law has been in force since 2003 and the only thing that has been added is the rewording of the article. Literacy is needed, not legal knowledge. “No legality is abolished”, Mr. Plevris stated characteristically.
For his part, Mr. Xanthos insisted that the new provision removes permanence. “The new article explicitly states that at the end of five years the position is re-advertised. Do you work for us? “Or you have made a legislative potato and you are deeply exposed and a new regulation must be brought, otherwise that was your plan, to vote illegally and in the mud” said Mr. Xanthos.
The Secretary General of his Parliamentary Group requested further clarifications from the Minister of Health. ΚΙΝΑΛEvangelia Liakouli, as he said “many doubts have been created regarding the interpretation of the re-announcement of positions at the end of the five years”.
For his part, his special rapporteur KKEGeorge Lambroulis, demanded the withdrawal of the provision, accusing the government that “insidiously removes the permanence of doctors, giving the opportunity to other doctors, not only those who are already on duty, to claim them.
“Permanence has never been abolished. The law of 2009 is normally in force and the legislative initiative with the changes that have been made concerns exclusively the previous service. Non-re-announcement of positions continues to apply normally. So the view is over. The law of 2009 is normally in force, no window is opened for the removal of the permanent one, only the issue of previous service is included “, the Minister of Health replied.
