The British Government plans to establish a new law in England, which will prohibit sale beverage In people under 16 from shops, restaurants, cafes, vendors and online platforms.

According to the BBC, it is estimated that up to one third of children in the United Kingdom consume such drinks each week, despite the fact that most supermarkets have already implemented a voluntary ban.

The Minister of Health and Social Care, Wes Strinking, said he is taking into account the concerns young.

Caffeine’s lower soft drinks will not be affected by the prohibition.

As part of the legislative initiative, a 12 -week consultation will launch a consultation for the collection of data from health and education experts, as well as from the public and retailers.

Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales are also considering a similar ban. Health policy in the United Kingdom is the responsibility of local governments.
