Mônica Bergamo: Queiroga will participate in the inauguration of the board of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology

The Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, confirmed his presence at the official inauguration ceremony of the administrative council of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology, this Thursday (19). The entity was chaired by Queiroga when he was invited to take over the portfolio.

NEW FACE

The event will be held at the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio. The new board took over the management and governance of the entity in January this year.

AUDIENCE

Also present will be the Secretary of Health of Goiás, Sandro Rogério Rodrigues Batista and the former president of SBC and host of the event, Celso Amodeo.

SHELF

During the ceremony, the book “Historical Bases of Cardiology and Development in Brazil” will be released, written by Carlos Antônio Mascia Gottschall in co-authorship with Daiane Silveira Rossi and Cristiano Enrique de Brum. Published by SBC, the work pays homage to Brazilian cardiology and portrays the 100 years of the specialty in the country.
