(News Bulletin 247) – Cafom, a home improvement specialist, reported on Friday evening a slight increase in its turnover in the first quarter of its staggered 2022-2023 financial year.

The group, which notably operates the But, Darty and Habitat brands in the Overseas Territories, generated revenue of 109.1 million euros over the period from October 1 to December 31, 2022, i.e. a small increase of 1.6%.

Its Overseas store division posted revenues of 72.2 million euros, up 3.5% year-on-year, including a 2% increase at a constant number of stores.

Cafom, which is also the majority shareholder of the vente-unique.com site, indicates that its continental Europe e-Commerce division recorded a turnover of 38.7 million euros, down 1. 8%.

The company explains that the activity suffered from an environment marked by strong pressure on the commercial margin, due to the inflation of transport costs and the rise of the dollar.

Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the Cafom title fell by 0.5% following this publication.
