(News Bulletin 247) – Roctool, a specialist in molds for plastics and composites, reported on Friday a slight loss in EBITDA for its 2022 financial year, due to an increase in its expenses.

The group, whose processes are used by industrial customers, reported this morning a negative Ebitda of 146.00 euros for the past year, against a profit of 197,000 euros in 2021.

The company explains this deterioration by the recruitments it carried out in order to support its growth, but also by an increase in its promotional expenses.

The group, which recorded a record annual turnover of 9.4 million euros, up 14%, indicates that its net result stood at -315,000 euros last year, against -704,000 euros in 2021 .

Regarding its prospects, Roctool – which wants to become the ‘essential’ supplier of eco-responsible molding technologies – says it aims for a profitable growth trajectory, without giving more details.

Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the title fell 3.5% late Friday morning in the wake of this publication.
