(News Bulletin 247) – The Group’s turnover increased by +2% to 5,077 ME in published data and by +1% on a comparable basis in the first quarter of 2023.
Sales in the directly owned store network, which includes e-commerce, were up +4% on a comparable basis. ‘All of the Group’s Houses contribute to it’ indicates the management.
“Growth is notably driven by good momentum in Western Europe and Japan. North America is in decline, while Asia-Pacific is returning to growth thanks to the gradual recovery of the Chinese market, ”says the group.
In the first quarter of 2023, Gucci’s sales reached 2,616 million euros, up +1% both on a reported and comparable basis. Sales in the directly owned store network increased by +1% on a comparable basis compared to the first quarter of 2022.
Yves Saint Laurent achieved sales of 806 million euros, or +9% on a reported basis and +8% on a comparable basis.
With sales of 395 million euros, Bottega Veneta’s sales were stable in the first quarter. Revenue from Other Houses reached 890 million euros in the first quarter, down -9% on a reported basis and on a comparable basis.
Kering Eyewear’s sales for the first three months amounted to 433 million euros, up 11%.
