(News Bulletin 247) – The battery manufacturer Forsee Power announced on Tuesday that it had been selected to equip the road sweepers and washers of a subsidiary of the Fayat group, a world leader in road equipment.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Mathieu company, a family-owned company belonging to the construction group, has chosen Forsee Power’s battery systems for the manufacture of zero-emission urban street cleaning equipment.
This company, which has 128 employees, offers municipalities and communities sweepers and washers with different engines: from ethanol to gasoline, now including electric.
In detail, Mathieu’s teams have selected the Zen 8 Slim 8 kWh battery system, which eliminates emissions, noise and vibrations linked to the engine.
Its charging compatibility up to 1C which can charge the battery to 100% in just one hour, with an estimated life of 5000 cycles, IP67 certified for air and water resistance.
Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, the Forsee share rose 0.5% after this announcement in a market down about 0.6%.
