(News Bulletin 247) – The group has inaugurated its first gigafactory in France, just three years after the creation of the joint venture ACC (Automotive Cells Company) by Stellantis and TotalEnergies, joined in 2021 by Mercedes-Benz
Following this inauguration, Oddo BHF confirms its Outperformance advice on the value and its target price of 22 E.
‘This plant, whose construction started in early 2022, should be commissioned by the end of the summer with a first production line of 15 GWh (estimated cost >800 ME) operated by 300 employees (including 80 % from the neighboring Stellantis plant), before the installation of two other lines in the coming years which will bring the total capacity of the site to 40 GWh, mainly for the French sites of Stellantis’ indicates Oddo BHF.
‘At full load, the ACC plant will be able to supply the batteries needed for 300,000 BEVs per year in the first two years, then more than 800,000 eventually’ adds the analysis office.
Finally, remember that two other factories are planned in Europe by 2026 for ACC (in Germany and Italy).
