(News Bulletin 247) – The Group announces changes within its management team, in view of the launch of its future strategic plan which will be presented in the first quarter of 2024.
Patrick Cohen, member of the Management Committee and until now Chief Executive Officer of AXA France, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Markets Europe & Health.
Guillaume Borie, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AXA France, is appointed Chief Executive Officer of AXA France and joins the Group’s Management Committee.
Hassan El-Shabrawishi, until now Managing Director Africa, has been appointed Managing Director International Markets.
AXA Japan and AXA China and Hong Kong will now report directly to George Stansfield, Group Deputy CEO and Corporate Secretary. Gordon Watson becomes Non-Executive Chairman Asia.
The group has appointed new members of the Management Committee in central functions.
Nancy Bewlay, CEO of AXA XL Réassurance, is appointed Group Underwriting Director and joins the Management Committee.
Françoise Gilles, Strategy Director of AXA Asia, is appointed Group Risk Director and joins the Management Committee.
Anu Venkataraman, Group Head of Investor Relations, has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer in addition to her current role.
Renaud Guidée, previously Group Risk Director, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AXA XL Réassurance, replacing Nancy Bewlay.
