(News Bulletin 247) – KKR and Mirastar have acquired a last-mile logistics property in Stockholm.
The approximately 12,500 m² new build has been developed to modern functional specifications with strong ESG credentials, and will be acquired with a partial pre-lease to Adelphos Healthcare AB, a developer and distributor of healthcare products.
The building is located in Botkyrka, a prime location in the southwest of Stockholm, with close access to the E4 and E20 highways approximately 30 minutes drive from the city center.
“The important transport links make it a solid base for companies supplying Stockholm, while connecting the Swedish capital to the south of the country” indicates the group.
Alexander Thams, Director and Head of Nordic Real Estate at KKR, said: ‘Last mile logistics is a key sub-sector of KKR’s European real estate strategy. The rapid expansion of e-commerce continues to drive occupier demand, further bolstered by the relocation of supply chains becoming a higher priority for businesses. We will seek to rapidly expand our industrial and logistics portfolio in the Nordics alongside Mirastar over the next few years, in line with our European focus on this sector. ‘
