Ryanair, the first Spanish airline in terms of passengers, had already announced in January a reduction of 800,000 seats at the country’s regional airports during the summer season.

Aena, which approved a 6.5% increase in airline fees next year to partially finance the main airports in Madrid and Barcelona, ​​did not immediately respond to a comment request.
