Paris (Reuters) -The main European scholarships are expected to increase on Thursday at the opening after the sharp drop in the start of the week and the results of Nvidia.
The term contracts suggest an opening up 0.04% for the Parisian CAC 40, 0.12% for the FTSE in London, a thrust of 0.12% for the Dax in Frankfurt, and a revaluation of 0.07% for the Stoxx 600.
Investors continue to fall downwards in Europe after the fall in the start of the week, especially weighed down by the political situation in France.
The results of NVIDIA, published Wednesday evening, should also shake the markets on Thursday while the American giant reported online turnover with the expectations in the second quarter but the prospects for its activities in China are worrying.
“We expect the action to be negotiated modestly after an online quarter and forecasts in a context of high expectations when approaching the call,” said Goldman Sachs analysts in a note, the Nvidia title having lost 2.8% in exchanges after scholarship in New York.
After the tone more ‘Dovish’ adopted by the president of the American Federal Reserve (Fed) recently, investors also more bet on a drop in the institution’s rates at the September meeting.
The market currently estimates at 88.7% the probability of a reduction of 25 basic points of rates at the Fed monetary policy meeting on September 17, against 61.9% a month ago, according to the Fedwatch tool of CME Group.
