Weather today: The temperature drops again – The forecast for the new week

FORECAST FOR TODAY SUNDAY 26-06-2022
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS – WARNINGS
In central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the islands of the northern Aegean clouds temporarily increased with local showers and sporadic thunderstorms and improvement at night. In the rest of the country generally clear weather with temporary clouds at noon and in the afternoon on the eastern mainland, where local showers will occur mainly in the mountains.
The winds will blow from north 3 to 5 and in the seas locally 6 beaufort.
The temperature will drop in the east – northeast and will not exceed 30 degrees Celsius in eastern Macedonia, Thrace and the northern Aegean, while in the west it will rise slightly and will reach 36 degrees in places.

MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: In western Macedonia initially generally clear weather. During the noon and afternoon hours, clouds temporarily increased with local showers and isolated thunderstorms.
In the rest of the regions clouds temporarily increased with local rains and sporadic thunderstorms, possibly temporarily strong in places. Improvement from the evening hours.
Winds: From north 3 to 4 beauforts, temporarily in the noon – afternoon hours of south directions with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 19 to 30 and in western Macedonia up to 32 degrees Celsius.

IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIRUS, WESTERN STEREA, WESTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear. Partly cloudy skies at noon and in the afternoon in Epirus and western Sterea with the possibility of isolated showers in the mountains. Visibility will be locally limited in the morning.
Winds: North northwest 4 to 5 and in the Ionian locally 6 beauforts.
Temperature: On the mainland from 21 to 37 degrees Celsius. In the Ionian Islands from 23 to 35 degrees Celsius.

THESSALY, EASTERN CENTRAL, EASTERN PELOPONNESE
Weather: Generally clear. In the noon and afternoon hours a few clouds temporarily increased with local showers mainly in the mountains of Thessaly and eastern Sterea.
Winds: From north 3 to 4 Beaufort, temporarily at noon and in the afternoon east southeast with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 20 to 34 to 35 degrees Celsius.

CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Generally clear.
Winds: In the Cyclades from north directions 4 to 5 and in the east and north temporarily up to 6 Beaufort. In Crete initially western 3 to 5 gradually turning to northern directions with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 21 to 30 and in southern Crete up to 32 degrees Celsius.

EASTERN AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANESE
Weather: In the Dodecanese generally clear. In the islands of the eastern Aegean clouds with local rains and sporadic thunderstorms probably temporarily strong in places and improvement from noon.
Winds: From north 4 to 6 beauforts.
Temperature: From 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.

EUBOEA
Weather: Generally clear. At noon – afternoon temporary clouds with a chance for local showers in the central and northern mountains.
Winds: North northeast 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 22 to 32 degrees Celsius.

ATTICA
Weather: Generally clear with temporary clouds at noon and in the afternoon.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4, temporarily in the east north northeast up to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 21 to 36 degrees Celsius.

THESSALONIKI
Weather: In the early morning hours increased clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms and temporary improvement. In the noon and afternoon hours a few clouds temporarily increased with local showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort, temporarily at noon and in the afternoon from south with the same intensity.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW MONDAY 27-06-2022
Generally clear weather. Temporary clouds will develop from noon on the mainland and there will be local showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the mountains of Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly, eastern Sterea and Peloponnese.
The winds will blow from north directions in the west 3 to 5, in the east 4 to 6 and locally up to 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly in the east and south and will not exceed 30 to 31 degrees in eastern Macedonia and Thrace, 34 to 35 in the rest of the mainland and 29 to 30 degrees Celsius in the eastern island country.

FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 28-06-2022
A few clouds temporarily increased in the afternoon mainly in the mainland, where there will be local showers and sporadic thunderstorms in central, eastern Macedonia and Thrace and in places mainly in the mountains of the rest of the mainland.
The winds will blow in the west variable and in the east north northwest 3 to 5, locally 6 and temporarily in the southeast Aegean up to 7 Beaufort.

The winds will blow in the west from south directions 3 to 4 and in the east from north directions 4 to 6, temporarily in the Aegean locally 7 beauforts.
The temperature will rise slightly.
