The four burglars had opened two houses in Chalandri, stealing jewelry and money they found inside. In one of them on Theseus Street, they were noticed by a neighbor who went out on the balcony to see what was happening. The four perpetrators had just finished the burglary and they were loading the loot in cars that they had left outside the apartment building. Fortunately, he kept the type of car and the number plate and immediately informed the police.
DIAS motorized teams that were in the area moved immediately and located the vehicle with the perpetrators on Pentelis Avenue. Naturally, the driver of the vehicle did not stop at the signal given to him by the police and then a cinematic chase began in which the perpetrators, in order to get rid of the thefts, threw them out of the window.
Shortly afterwards, the police managed to stop the car and arrest the perpetrators. In addition to the two burglaries in apartments on Tuesday, their participation in others is being examined.
