Roula Pispirigou: She issued… a press release to attack the medical examiner Leo

An extensive text of four pages in which it attacks the medical examiner Grigoris Leon as well as the child psychologist Despina Savoglou was communicated to the media by the side of Roulas Pispirigou.

The Pispirigou family characterizes medical examiner Leo as “irresponsible” regarding his positions on the Patras case and even questions him stating that “the scientific validity of his opinions is very limited”.

As for Mrs. Savvoglou, the following is noted: “This particular lady never stated that she would proceed with a psychographic examination of Roula, who, after all, had never given her consent for such a thing.”

The press release closes with a message from the 33-year-old accused.

Detailed text from the side of Roula Pispirigou

In relation to the recent news and the coverage of issues concerning the case of Sotiria Pispirigou and the accusation she is facing, we would like to make the following known:

1. After the completion of the interrogation process for the attributed charge of homicide against our beloved Georgina, the mission of the appointed ex officio defense attorney Mr. Konstantinos Zardas was also completed. Mr. Zardas was appointed ex officio by Ms. Anakritria, during the short period of disruption that had intervened between the arrest of Roula Pispirigou and the assumption of defense duties by our lawyer Mr. Othona Papadopoulos.

On Thursday, June 30, Mr. Zardas visited Roula in Korydallos Prison, expressing his pure interest in receiving copies of the case file that was formed for our other two beloved children, Malena and Irida.
In the context of the above visit to him, it was stated that after the end of his appointment, we sincerely thank him for the services he provided and we wish him every personal and professional success. We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Zardas for the services he provided in the context of his appointment.

2. We completely deny the information that was broadcast in the television media that we have allegedly proposed to the Medical Examiner Mr. Leon to take over as our technical advisor for the case of Roula. This particular medical examiner goes on the air every day talking irresponsibly about a case of which he has never seen any documents and is gaining television exposure and publicity over the graves of our three beloved children. This leads us to the conclusion that the scientific validity of his views is very limited. For this reason there would never have been the possibility of choosing him as our technical advisor.

3. In relation to the recent technical report by the child psychologist Mr. Savvoglou, the content of which has been leaked to the press, the specific report which, officially at least, concerned the paintings of our beloved Georgina, contains sensitive personal data of Roula, which the she never gave permission to make them public. This particular lady never stated that she would proceed with a psychographic examination of Roula, who had never given her consent for such a thing. Therefore, since the specific psychograph was not requested by either the Investigator or Roula herself, this constitutes an arbitrary action by this particular lady. Her report is distinguished by empathy and fanaticism, while the characterizations she includes border on the insulting.

Rather, this particular lady wanted to express the feelings of pain and sadness, but also anger, caused by the loss of her three small children, with this big “why” that changed the lives of all of us, feelings that, long ago from her, we also experience. In this case, however, the specific expertise ends up actually being a psychograph of the editor herself.
The worst thing was that we could not hear an authoritative, an unbiased scientific, an objective opinion about the conclusions that could be drawn from the drawings of our beloved child.

4. In relation to the news broadcast by the media that we proceeded to remove things from the apartment that was the family’s residence and that we allegedly threw away the toys of our beloved child, the specific news that exceeds the limits of wretchedness, is a big lie. The only things we threw away were some of the couple’s old shoes and clothes. This is well known by the reporters who had entered the garbage can and searched for about an hour for the bags we had thrown away.
All of Georgina’s personal belongings and toys were collected by us, with the intention of keeping them forever, just as we will always remember our beloved child, even when at some point, the spotlight turns elsewhere and their cannibalistic moods they will find other recipients when they find other innocents to judge.

5. In relation to the information listed in Ms. Savvoglou’s psychiatric report concerning Roula’s father Mr. Andreas Pispirigo, it was never included that these are rumors about this particular man which were never confirmed, but were arbitrarily presented as real facts, which is a defamation of his personality.
This specific defamation is part of the more general publicity that all members of our family have received in recent months.

6. In relation to the reports in a Sunday newspaper that allegedly Dimitra Pispirigou has testified to the authorities that little Irida when she was found dead in her crib had blood in her mouth, this is a huge lie, it is not true, it was never said and it is not part of of her deposition. The publication that Roula Pispirigou was allegedly arrested in the past for drug possession is also a lie. For these two false and defamatory publications we reserve all our legal rights. Unfortunately, the spread of false news regarding our case and ourselves continues unabated.

7. Finally, while we have entered the 6th month of investigations into the death of the children of the first of us, my televised trial continues with the same anger and intensity and I am condemned daily on the television channels for an act I have not done. I will not stop fighting to prove my innocence but also to learn the truth about the loss of my beloved children.
