Matricide in Thessaloniki: “We heard the son shouting inside the apartment”

The neighbors of the unfortunate woman are shocked her son snarledin the apartment they lived in Neapoli, in western Thessaloniki.

Speaking to Voria.gr, another neighbor said that he saw the unfortunate woman every day going out and drinking her coffee on the balcony, while her son said that he had psychological problems and that he never left the house, except on the balcony .

He also added that the family’s other son brought them groceries and looked after them.

According to the information, after committing the heinous crime, the perpetrator left the house, while he was later located by the police.

Yesterday at 4 pm the 53-year-old went to the apartment as he was worried because his mother was not answering the phones and when he entered the house he saw her in a pool of blood. He immediately notified EKAV and the police. The witness reports that when she went down to see what was happening, she smelled blood and realized that something tragic had happened.
