THE Medical Association of Athensby his order President of G. Patoulis, yesterday activated the Association’s Emergency Action Team and sent volunteer doctors with medical equipment to provide first aid to the areas affected by the fire. At the same time, the ambulances of the ISA will be in the Municipal Community of Penteli (2 Igomenou Makrigiannis), to support the forces of the EKAV.
Citizens also have access to the 1110 telephone support line of the ISA and the Region of Attica, which our fire-affected fellow citizens can contact for the provision of instructions and psychological support.
The ISA recommends that people who belong to the vulnerable groups of the population immediately move away from the affected areas and not be exposed to the smoke caused by the fires.
The President of ISA, G. Patoulis, stated the following: “Unfortunately, for another year our country is being tested by the fiery conflagration. We put all our forces at the disposal of our fellow citizens who are threatened by the devastating fires.
