Announcement from Hippocrates about complaints of a pregnant woman who lost her baby

In the announcement, signed by the hospital’s director Nikolaos Antonakis, there is talk of inaccurate information in the relevant publications and in relation to the handling of the incident it is stated: “from the check carried out in the Hospital’s records, it appears that on February 26, 2022 at 7:25 a.m., a full-term pregnant woman came in with reported abdominal pain and was diagnosed with COVID-19 a few days ago. According to the current health protocol, she was examined by the midwife and the doctor on duty in a specially designed area for pregnant women positive for COVID-19. All the necessary tests were carried out and no evidence was found that would require her immediate admission. The pregnant woman left the emergency department at 8.10 am, without bleeding or other symptoms and with instructions. The details of her medical file were provided to her on 9-6-22 at her request”.

It is recalled that the androgynous appealed to the Justice, asking to investigate and assign criminal responsibilities against doctors of two hospitals in Thessaloniki (Ippokrateiou and Papageorgiou), connected to the death of their newborn child.
