The president of the medical examiners explained that the prosecution has in its hands a rich medical material about the incident that led to the child becoming a quadriplegic

All the evidence that emerges about her episode lead to external intervention Georginas Daskalaki in the Karamandan hospital that left the child a quadriplegic, he said speaking to SKAI and on the show “Today”Grigoris Leon.

For the episode in question, which was called to plead guilty as accused of attempted murder, the Rula Pispirigouthe president of the medical examiners explained that the prosecution has in its hands a wealth of medical material on the incident: “The prosecution has the full picture, a wealth of medical material about the child who went through a lot of tests on his cardiovascular system. This was studied by the prosecutor along with the doctors’ testimony and proceeded with the prosecution for attempted murder.”

Regarding unanswered questions raised by this serious incident, he stated the following: “When I have a child who has no pathological or genetic causes and generally there is no etiology for this severe episode, all the evidence points to exogenous intervention. He was a healthy child and ended up with encephalopathy.”

He clarified at the same time that even if some time has passed since the incident, it is possible to find what is hidden behind the external intervention being considered for the child:
“It cannot be determined exactly what happened because it has been a long time since it happened and forensically we have some limitations. But if we have the medical file and the testimonies, we can roughly determine at least what this external factor affected and slowly arrive at some limited possibilities that show us external intervention”.
